In 1946, C.R. "Ross" Hamilton founded Hamilton Electric Works, Inc. in Austin, TX. The initial emphasis was on rebuilding batteries, however through listening to our customers' needs, we expanded our skill set to focus on electric motor sales and repair.
Our shop has seen Austin grow over the years and is proud to still be family owned and operated by one of Ross' sons, Dale Hamilton. Dale's children have also put decades under their belts working side by side with their father.

Our original building was on Red River however we have been here at 3800 Airport Blvd. since 1971.
